See what’s possibleThe TS72 is a universal sawing system for cutting tubes and bars which is particularly suited for smaller batch sizes. All adjustments to changeover for a new tube size are automatic. Non-stop productivity with no downtime is ensured by the automatic axis control function. Cutting parameters are also set perfectly according to material, blade type and tube dimensions.
Round, square, rectangular, flat-oval and other shapes can all be can be loaded without needing special equipment. Production changeovers are automatic and no keys are needed. Four different lengths can be cut from each bar; each one can be unloaded to different discharge position. The saw automatically positions the different length parts on the bar to minimize waste and maximize material utilization.

No experience is needed to obtain parts of the best possible quality. Cutting is performed by following optimized blade advancement profiles already stored in the CNC and automatically selected based on material type and blade. This knowledge base maximizes saw blade life based on the application.

After sawing, the parts can have the ends internally and externally brush deburred. An air jet effectively cleans the inside of each tube. Additionally, the entire production can be measured and certified. An optional automatic washing system, thermally insulated and entirely made of stainless steel, can be used to clean the inside and outside of each tube. Each part is individually washed and dried for maximum efficiency. Finally, a bundle style belt collector can be added to speed up finished part packing.

You can make perfectly clean parts in one single step on a laser system. The laser consolidates the cutting, measuring, brushing and washing with outstanding accuracy and repeatability. It even adds the possibility of doing more than just straight cut off. Productivity of laser cut off can be surprising! Compare the piece cost of the two systems (traditional saw and laser) and then decide what one is best for you!

The touch screen monitor guides the operator through the few steps needed to start production. Operations can be monitored remotely by connecting the system to the network.

A graphical touch screen lets you select parameters for every element of the machine.

The machine control displays the operating status, error messages, maintenance suggestions and status of the material handling and part measurement devices.

Machine performance, productivity and production status are viewable on the monitor or remotely.

integrated operations
Additional operations can be integrated to add value to the cut parts and make the process even more convenient.
Internal and external brushing: effective on all sections (round, square, rectangular, flat-oval) complete with air jets which eliminate shavings from the inside of the tube.
Automatic part length measuring: to certify the entire production run and obtain part quality statistics (Cp, Cpk).

Washing and drying: a stainless steel washing systems that cleans each part individually.

Orderly part collection: for controlled discharge of cut parts into customer supplied containers.
Gain efficiency by organizing multiple machine programs into work orders and sending them to each system via the network by means of Protube Express. Each batch / work order will contain the settings required to optimize quality and cycle times.
