Marketing and Public Relations Manager

The position reports to:
Director of Sales

Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role provides direction and support to the Sales and Service teams in the facilitation, development, and implementation of business and marketing plans and marketing strategy, as well as creating and implementing strategy initiatives for media and public relations.

Activities:

Essential Functions 

The duties listed below are the specific duties and tasks that someone in this position must accomplish. 

  • Coordinates with the Event Planner and Italian corporate marketing team on graphics and messaging for trade shows and events. 
  • Collaborate with Solutions Center Manager for Solution Center and Novi office interior design.
  • Works with BLM GROUP management in development of marketing strategy.
  • Directs communication between several departments for successful implementation of marketing strategy.
  • Analyzes Marketing data to identify best resources/analytics to optimize the marketing budget.
  • Assist in creation of company and product presentations.
  • Develop multimedia packages, including but not limited to; letters, brochures, video, point-of-purchase displays.
  • Assist in development of marketing programs and monitors roll-out of the campaign and provides analytical data to support results.
  • Coordinates with team members to develop, manage and execute social media posts and channels.  
  • Collaborate with Italian corporate marketing team to review documents that may need translation or assistance with proper messaging.
  • Establish and execute a year-long advertisement budget and plan.
  • Coordinates development of tutorial case studies, customer referrals for publication and assist with writing and development of white papers for publication.
  • Maintains all marketing materials and facilitates the distribution of all marketing materials, including BLM clothing to employees and customers. 
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


Basic requirements:

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Marketing, Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of marketing experience required. 

Knowledge, Skills, and other Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to express oneself in writing.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn and understand BLM products and services.
  • Advanced skill in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project).
  • Able to effectively use the Internet.
  • Highly organized.
  • Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.


Licensing/Certifications

Valid Driver’s License with no more than two (2) points on a driving record within a three (3) year period

This position reports to the Director of Sales.

Manage and supervise any marketing-related team members, as determined by management.
