Process aimed to produce iron/aluminium gas tubes distributers for kitchens (Ø 16x1mm (5/8”)
Tube manufacturing cell E consists operations:
piece cut to length
automatic loading and punching on the bender with no deformation and burr free burr made
bending
nut insert on the two ends
double bead to lock the nuts
in line inspection
automatic unload onto a band for transfer to the assembling line
The advantages of this configuration tube manufacturing cell:
increased production flexibility (a whole “family” of components can be produced)
only one superviser required over three shifts
holes can be CNC programmed and produced by the bender
just in time production without intermediate material storage
15-20% increased production rates.
